Your First Session — What Actually Happens
Whether you’re here for a private session, a group workshop, trauma-informed work, or horse-guided self-discovery — the shape is similar, and that’s on purpose. The rhythm is the medicine.
Step 1 — Before You Arrive
Once you book your exploration call, Lizette will connect with you personally to understand where you are and what you’re hoping to move through. She’ll answer your questions, share what to wear and bring, and confirm directions to the property. There’s nothing you need to prepare or rehearse.
Step 2 — When You Arrive
You’ll meet Lizette at her Huntsville, TX property — a calm, private outdoor setting with open fields and trees. After a short orientation, you’ll be introduced to the horses in a safe, unhurried way. The environment is designed to help you exhale.
Step 3 — The Session
Using the EGCMethod®, Lizette guides you through an experiential process alongside one or more horses. You won’t be riding — you’ll be present with the horses in a way that allows them to respond to your emotional energy authentically. What surfaces is often surprising, grounding, and clarifying.
Step 4 — After Your Session
Lizette closes the session with intentional reflection time. Many clients describe leaving with a sense of lightness, clarity, or breakthrough they hadn’t expected. Follow-up sessions build on what emerged.
“You don’t have to know what you need. The horses will notice what you’re carrying. Lizette will help you name it. That’s the work.”
— Lizette Lobpries
HOW TO PREPARE
What to bring, what to wear
What to bring

You don’t need to bring anything else. Lizette has the rest.
What to wear
- Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty
- Closed-toe shoes (strongly recommended)
- Layers in cooler months — sessions are outdoors
- Leave strong perfumes and colognes at home — horses notice
The land is part of the work.
Many clients say the drive itself is part of the decompression.
