Lizette’s Story

As a Certified Equine Gestaltist trained in the EGCMethod®, Lizette brings a grounded, heart-led approach to every session.

Her work is rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t have to be complicated or clinical. Sometimes it only requires stepping outside, breathing fresh air, and letting an honest, 1,200-pound partner show you what you already know.

Lizette works with individuals and groups at her property in Huntsville, TX — approximately 30–60 minutes from Houston — where the land itself becomes part of the process. She personally responds to every inquiry, because the relationship begins the moment you reach out.

The Stars Aligned …

The stars aligned at exactly the right time to provide this unique opportunity for me, on the day that I learned of the Touched By A Horse program. Although I was approaching retirement, reading about it caused my heart to beat faster! I immediately felt a draw. Several weeks passed before I allowed myself any thoughts of turning my husband’s and my lives upside down, so that I could start a new career in my own direction. It was a divine push of many, many small signs, encouraging nudges, and my own unrealized passion that provided me with the perseverance to pursue this new vision.

For two years I read and re-read the prescribed books, completed hundreds of hours of lessons, attended intensive trainings, both in person and online, passed written Exams, and completed business requirements and registrations.

Meet the Herd

At Whispers from Peace, the horses are not props — they are co-facilitators in your healing journey. Each horse has its own personality, its own gifts, and an uncanny ability to respond to what you are feeling, not what you are saying.

Horses are prey animals that have evolved to read emotional states with extraordinary precision. They have no agenda. They don’t judge. They simply respond to what is true in the moment — and in doing so, they become the most honest mirrors you will ever encounter.

About Lizette & the work

What is the EGCMethod®?
Equine Gestalt Coaching Method — a body-centered, experiential coaching approach that brings horses and trained coaches together in guided partnership. It draws on Gestalt psychology and somatic awareness, and it happens outdoors, with no riding required.
Where does Lizette work?
At her private property near Huntsville, TX — about 30–60 minutes north of Houston. Sessions are outdoors, in a quiet natural setting. Exact address provided at booking.
Does Lizette work with groups?
Yes — private sessions and small-group workshops. See Services for the four formats she offers.
